About me

I am an artist (painter and printmaker) living in the countryside on the East Kent coast with my family and a growing menagerie of dogs, cats, hens. I divide my time very unequally between my studio, gardening, and singing (mainly old (feisty) folk songs).

My key painterly influences include a number of the St. Ives painters (but particularly Winifred Nicholson and Christopher Wood) and the Bloomsbury set and their hangers on (particularly Vanessa Bell and Dora Carrington), and more recently Mary Newcombe and Mary Fedden. 17LR
